A smooth-clipping and super-safe dynamic rope, Beal’s The One 9.6 Rope features the exclusive UNICORE process which bonds the core and the sheath for increased safety. Beal’s Soft Touch process enables an extremely smooth sheath. This technology decreases the friction of the rope through the carabiners.
The One is 100% recyclable and is OEKO-TEX® certified. Beal will plant one tree for every The One rope manufactured.
UNICORE: An astonishing process that bonds the rope sheath and core without affecting the rope’s suppleness. If the sheath is cut or torn, the core and sheath remain bonded together. With a standard rope, if the sheath is cut by abrasion over an edge, a frequent occurrence in the mountains, it slides and gathers over some meters. It then becomes impossible to pass this zone, whether ascending or descending.
OEKO-TEX:
The international label STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX ®, has been created by two textile institutes in 1992: OTI (Austria) and Hohenstein (Germany). It is the first label, product oriented, which addresses consumer concerns about human ecology. The label guarantees the absence of harmful substances for health. The certificate is renewed every year and valid for a group of articles sharing the exact same components. The One is the first rope certified by OEKO-TEX.
